Local-First Freelance Job Finder App
At a glance
What it does
- Pulls listings from eleven official public job APIs and feeds, not scraped sources
- A free, built-in risk filter that flags scam and payout-trap postings
- Scores every listing two ways, agent-doability and fit to your own resume
- Drafts a proposal and an agent-brief for postings you choose to pursue
- Tracks your whole pipeline, considering, applying, and waiting on
Inside the build
Built to do the work, not just look the part
A private, local-first co-pilot that finds and triages real freelance work, and never acts on your behalf.
GigScout is a co-pilot for finding real freelance work. It pulls postings from eleven official public job APIs and feeds, then does the filtering a freelancer would otherwise do by hand, so you spend your time on the few listings actually worth pursuing instead of scrolling boards.
It scores every listing two ways at once: whether an AI coding agent can realistically do the work, and whether it fits your own resume and skills. For the postings you choose to pursue, it drafts a proposal and an agent-brief, and it tracks your whole pipeline across everything you’re considering, applying to, or waiting on.
Private by design
GigScout runs entirely on your own machine. It reads job postings, it never logs in anywhere, never applies, never bids, and never messages anyone for you. The only data that ever leaves your computer is the specific job text you choose to send to your own AI key, for scoring and drafting. Nothing is automated outward.
Built this, want your own?
GigScout is one of the apps we’ve built in-house. If you want a workflow tool shaped around how you actually work, tell us what your process looks like and we’ll scope a commissioned build around it.
Common questions
Does this apply to jobs automatically? No. It never applies, bids, or messages on your behalf. It surfaces and scores opportunities, drafting is assistance, the decision and the send are always yours.
Where do the job listings come from? Eleven official public job APIs and feeds, not scraped listings from unofficial sources.
What data does it send anywhere? Only the specific job posting text you choose to score or draft against, sent to your own AI provider key. Nothing else leaves your machine.
